About Our Team:  This team is made up of former combat experienced Marines, wives and friends, retired and living in The Villages, FL.  After just one year, our team has raced in Tampa, Deerfield, Tavares and Orlando Disney where we took first place in the Class C Division against a very powerful Canadian Team.  Our long term goal is to qualify for the 2011 Internationals in Tampa and this year we plan on competing in Tampa, Miami, Chatannooga, Cape Coral and other top notch venues. All team members are 60 and over, and benefit from our weekly training regiment that includes weight and agility training and being on the water twice a week.  Our hope is to be an example to the dragon boat community that age is not a barrier for racing and that other Senior teams will join our ranks.  We live by the Marine motto of "Semper Fidelis" meaning always faithful, to each other and the great team we represent.
