Mini Regattas

These are small, informal races, for teams and individual paddlers to gain more racing experience.  Free for all teams who have completed registration for the May 1st Tampa Bay International Dragon Boat Races.  Non-registered teams are $5 per paddler and full teams receive a discount of $80 for entry into a mini regatta.

  Overview -  A total of 10 teams made it out to the Tampa Convention Center docks and Sail Pavilion for our very first Mini Regatta. A special thanks goes out to all participants, supporters, and helpers who made this event such a success. The Tampa Bay Dragon Boat Institute would also like to give a hearty congratulations to The Tampa Blade Runners for being the overall winners on the day!
