With its rich history and active demographic, the Tampa maritime community is proud to be represented by its finest individuals and community supporters at the annual Tampa Bay Dragon Boat Races.

Industries such as the shipping lines, seaport terminals, phosphate producers, ship yards, and other services providers have united to form the Port of Tampa Maritime Marauders, which was built to showcase the various industries serving our waterways and seaports in Tampa Bay.

These diverse companies and industries bring together a host of necessary and vital resources that are pillars of economic support in the Tampa Bay area; including, the City of Tampa, the surrounding counties and the entire Central and West Florida region. Their contribution as mentioned above is seen by way of well paying jobs, primier services from world class companies, and the supply lines of goods such as fuel, steel, consumer and industrial equipment, and aggregate materials for contruction.

Tampa’s cultural heritage and prominence continues to be maintained by efforts and community support of these proud professionals, companies, and industries!
